What's For Dinner Monday

Well, yesterday was quite a Monday...especially considering it was the Monday after a week of vacation. My house looked like our suitcases exploded, and the laundry was up to my elbows(still is:). Not to mention, we had a bird in our house for about a half and hour. I think that pretty much sums up my day so I didn't get around to my meal plan post.

Last week's grocery totals were around $50 since we purchased plenty of goodies and snacks for the trip and stay. This week I've not been grocery shopping yet. (But I really need to!)

Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: DiGiorno Pizza and Breadsticks--a new try for us...quite yummy!

Lunch: Pancakes with Apples
Dinner: Grilled BBQ Chicken with a Squash and Zucchini Veggie Pack

Lunch: Grilled Ham and Cheese, Carrot Sticks
Dinner: Grilled Chicken Alfredo, Salad, Breadsticks

Lunch: PB & J, Peach slices
Dinner: Grilled Burgers, Hashbrown Casserole (no onions) and Green Beans

Lunch: Leftovers with tomato slices
Dinner: Hot Dogs, Baked Beans (instead of ketch-up, I use BBQ sauce)

Brunch: Eggs, Hashbrown Casserole, Turkey Bacon and Toast
Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad (lettuce, eggs, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, carrots) with homemade Honey Mustard Dressing

Snacks: Cheese and Crackers, Peaches, Apples, Oranges, Yogurt, Celery and Peanut Butter

Dessert: Ice Cream Sundaes, Smores

  1. $50 is great! I can usually do $350 For the whole month to feed a family of 4.

  2. On a normal week I try to keep it between $30-$40. :)
I checked out your blog, and it looks like you have some yummy recipes. I'm in the same boat as's hard for me to lose and KEEP the weight off. Much success to you!
