Kmart: Double Coupons on Health and Beauty Item-7/4/10-7/10/10

WooHoo! Kmart is having a double coupon event 07/04/10 through 07/10/10 on Health and Beauty Products. Go here to see if your location is participating. Looks like the rules are generally the same as last time, with the exception, of only being able to double health and beauty product coupons.

1. Must use the Kmart Rewards Card---sign-up for a Rewards Card here
2. Coupon $2 and below will be doubled
3. Only 5 coupons will double per day

I'll post some coupon match-ups early next week.

Kmart: Up to $100 in Gift Cards for Transferring Prescriptions

Kmart has released online coupons to receive a $25 gift card for a prescription transfer.  You can transfer up to four prescriptions which means you can potentially get $100 in gift cards. The coupons are valid until 09/25/2010. The gift card cannot exceed the full retail value of the prescription. You also have to use your Shop Your Way Rewards Card at the time of checkout.

My local CVS accepts competitors coupons like this one. I may use a couple of these coupons to get $25 gift cards at CVS.

My Last 2 KMart Shopping Trips

Since I've reported my KMart  shopping trips all week, I didn't want to leave you hanging on my last two days of shopping. I must admit, even though I thought the new Double Coupon Event rules were a little ridiculous, it did take some pressure off of me. What I mean by that is:

-I didn't have to get all my coupons together for one huge shopping trip.
-It didn't take me hours on ends to complete the shopping trip.
-I didn't get overwhelmed trying to make sure all my coupons doubled. It was easier to detect with only five coupons.
-I enjoyed visiting my KMart for a whole week straight...I don't know that I've ever been in KMart that much in one week.

But as I stated in another post, my KMart is literally 1 minute from my house. I know it was a little more difficult for other shoppers. Yet I hope some of my readers were able to score some freebies, and that some of this week's post were helpful. Did you get anything good or a great deal this week at  KMart?

Shopping Trip#6 & #7

(My hubby got 5 items today as well)

I splurged a little and got the 7 Up. There's also a Starbucks drink missing. :/
$56.95 worth of product for $10.97 plus I'm submitting a $5 Mail-in rebate for the Windex. :)

So the totals for the whole week@ KMart:

$137.95 worth of product for $18.89-$5 MIR=$13.89 Out of Pocket!

Central KY Kmarts NOT Doubling Coupons!

I'm updating you about the post I wrote on Friday. To any of my Central KY readers: After taking a lot of time to prepare my coupons for the big doubling event at Kmart, I headed to Kmart this afternoon ready to go. As I walked through the doors I didn't see an advertisment for double coupons. I thought, "this doesn't look good," so I went up to the first employee I saw at the door. After inquiring if they were doubling coupons a manager was called and of course the answer was, "our store is not doubling coupons this week."

I'll be calling corporate in the morning over the matter. But I just wanted to let my readers know. So if you were planning on going to Kmart for the coupon doubling in our area, they are not participating this week again!!!

But to any of my other fortunate readers that have a Kmart that is participating, here is a nice list of coupon match ups for items at Kmart. Happy clipping and happy shopping. :)

Kmart Double Coupon Event

After 6 months of waiting, I just found out that my local Kmart is finally doubling coupons again. Every time Kmart would running the doubling event the locations in Central Kentucky would not participate. We have not been apart of the event such December of 08. My friend Kim and I were feeling very neglected by our local Kmart. After a call to corporate Kim called me first thing this morning to give my the good news we were included this time. Yay!!!

The coupon doubling begins June 7th until June 13th. They will double all coupons $2 and below. Remember this does not include Internet coupons. Also there are a few additional guidelines:

They will not double Kmart Store Coupons
They will not double Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
They will not double copies of manufacturer coupons
There is a limit of 10 total coupons per customer per day
They will only doubled up to retail price of a that item (no overages)

Go here and enter your zip code to check if your Kmart is participating. You can also sign up here to receive alerts from Kmart and they will email you a $5/$50 coupon to use. Happy clipping and happy shopping!
