What's For Dinner?
Our grocery totals last week end up at $40.85. This week I'm trying to skip the grocery store...other than some basics (Fruit, Milk, Veggies). I've spent $7.97 so far this week.
Considering I have two bags of frozen chicken in the freezer, we are going to be living a chicken this week. So here goes a week on chicken recipes (literally):
Monday
Grilled Chicken Tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and Spanish Rice
Tuesday:
Teriyaki Chicken with rice and veggies (didn't make it to the dinner table last week) BTW you should try this recipe, it's delicious. I'm making it in the crockpot this time~we'll see
Wednesday
Chicken Scampi with Angel Hair Pasta and Salad *New Recipe*
Thursday
Grilled BBQ Chicken, Hashbrown Casserole, Green Beans
Friday
Chicken Salad Sandwiches---a snack considering we have a church fellowship meeting with food provided :)
Saturday
Southwest Chicken, Leftover Hashbrown Casserole, Corn on the Cob
Sunday
Eating at the 5th Sunday Fellowship
Snacks: apples, Peanut Butter, cheese, crackers, celery, oranges, apple sauce, cereal, yogurt
Dessert: Not making dessert, since we have two church fellowship's this week. I'm sure we'll get plenty of goodies there. :)
