What's For Dinner?
Last week's grocery totals came in at $23. Not too bad, considering I had to buy meat which is usually expensive. This week I'm at $12 so far, but I'll have a few more things like milk and fruit to shop for.
With the weather warming up, I love to grill and eat plenty of salads. That's very apparent in this week's meal plan:
Monday
Lunch: Sandwiches
Dinner: Cheesy Shepherd's Pie (with homemade mashed potatoes)---I didn't get to make it last week. It's a long story.
Tuesday
Lunch: Turkey/Cheese Wraps with lettuce and tomatoes, chips
Dinner: Grilled Ham Steaks, Potato Salad
Wednesday
Lunch: Club Salad with crackers
Dinner: BBQ Chicken with leftover Potato Salad
Thusday
Lunch: Pasta Salad with cucumbers and tomatoes---I use what noodles I have on hand and no onions
Dinner: Chicken Parmesan over Spaghetti
Friday
Lunch: Grilled Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches with Pasta Salad
Dinner: Honey Chicken Brocolli Stir-fry with Brown Rice
Saturday
Brunch: Oatmeal with Toast
Dinner: Out-Fazoli's with this coupon---all 4 of us can eat for under $6 :)
Sunday
Out
Snacks: Grapes, Oranges, Strawberries, PB & J, Celery with Peanut Butter or cream cheese, Carrots, Cheetos, Cheese and crackers, Cereal, Cucumbers with dressing
Dessert: Either Strawberry Pie or Strawberry Pie Cheesecake, Cookies
